Keep walking through

Remember this. Go through. Keep walking..through. You will not drown, you will not be consumed… hold on to the Hand of King Jesus…who walks with us and will never leave…will never abandon. Don’t let go.

Jesus faithful, strong Love overcomes what tries to overtake us.

Jesus River of Life floods our hearts turning rivers of despair into new streams pushing us higher in His Spirit…as we cry out…the Life Saver saturates us in new waters birthing hope.

Learning…remembering how to swim, again…in Jesus Love, Life…Holy Spirit. #youareloved #speakhope

To heal the broken places…

The Lord gives strength for each new step. Ask Him. Walk forward, in faith, in trust, following Jesus…where He leads…this time…in the new day. Trust His Love. His Promise to lead on paths of right living, never to abandon…to heal the broken places along the way… #radianthope #speakhope #redemptivebeauty #youareloved #radiantOnes

“He heals the wounds of every shattered heart. He sets his stars in place, calling them all by their names. How great is our God! There’s absolutely nothing his power cannot accomplish, and he has infinite understanding of everything. God supports and strengthens the humble, but the ungodly will be brought down to the dust. Sing out with songs of thanksgiving to the Lord! Let’s sing our praises with melodies overflowing!”

No Shadow of Shame – Radiant Ones

a Promise of the Lord…I know this to be true. “The Lord hears our cries, sees every tear…His Promise…those who look to Him will be…will become in the process of healing, of overcoming, released from the pain…radiant with joy…no shadow of shame will darken our faces. Through Jesus love, redeemed of our past…shame lifted…gone, released…we will love and speak for the voiceless and those finding their voice…becoming His radiant ones.”

“Listen to my testimony: I cried to God in my distress and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears! Gaze upon him, join your life with his, and joy will come. Your faces will glisten with glory. You’ll never wear that shame-face again. When I had nothing, desperate and defeated, I cried out to the Lord and he heard me, bringing his miracle-deliverance when I needed it most. The angel of the Lord stooped down to listen as I prayed, encircling me, empowering me, and showing me how to escape. He will do this for everyone who fears God. Drink deeply of the pleasures of this God. Experience for yourself the joyous mercies he gives to all who turn to hide themselves in him. Worship in awe and wonder, all you who’ve been made holy! For all who fear him will feast with plenty. Even the strong and the wealthy grow weak and hungry, but those who passionately pursue the Lord will never lack any good thing. Come, children of God, and listen to me. I’ll share the lesson I’ve learned of fearing the Lord. Do you want to live a long, good life, enjoying the beauty that fills each day? Then never speak a lie or allow wicked words to come from your mouth.

Keep turning your back on every sin, and make “peace” your life motto. Practice being at peace with everyone. The Lord sees all we do; he watches over his friends day and night. His godly ones receive the answers they seek whenever they cry out to him. But the Lord has made up his mind to oppose evildoers and to wipe out even the memory of them from the face of the earth. Yet when holy lovers of God cry out to him with all their hearts, the Lord will hear them and come to rescue them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and he is always ready to restore the repentant one. Even when bad things happen to the good and godly ones, the Lord will save them and not let them be defeated by what they face. God will be your bodyguard to protect you when trouble is near. Not one bone will be broken.”

Remain…a woman of honor

“Remain a woman of honor, when honor is all that remains. Do not let your past determine your future.  Let your words give wings and not wounds.”  SpeakHope

“You’re only truly happy when you walk in total integrity, walking in the light of God’s word. What joy overwhelms everyone who keeps the ways of God, those who seek him as their heart’s passion! They’ll never do what’s wrong but will always choose the paths of the Lord.”

“I do.”

Radiant with hope, no shadow of shame will cover my face...Psalm 34:4,5 SpeakHope – Radiant with hope, no shadow of shame will cover my face…Psalm 34:4,5

“I will have much joy in the Lord. My soul will have joy in my God, for He has clothed me with the clothes of His saving power. He has put around me a coat of what is right and good, as a man at his own wedding wears something special on his head, and as a bride makes herself beautiful with stones of great worth.”

Isaiah 61:10

Recently, I was sitting with a new friend and listening to her story.  She had come for help.  The past few years of her life had been very difficult with great heartache.  During our conversation I asked her, “Are you a Christian?”.  Her response was, “I don’t even know what that means…and sometimes I feel I don’t even know how to ask.”  I asked her, “Do you want to know?”  Her response, “I do.”

As we talked, I shared a bit of my story and how I felt before I knew Jesus.  I shared how I would see little children who knew Bible verses and how I would think, “they’re a child and I’m an adult…I should know this by now…”    I had those questions, also, and unknowingly longed for the love of God. I told her the story of Nicodemus, a learned man, a Pharisee, a leader in his time, a member of the Jewish Ruling Council.  He knew the Scripture.  He was well educated.  Yet, despite all his learning and privileges, he did not know God.  He knew Religion but he did not know Relationship with the Living God.  He knew about God, but he did not know Jesus, His Saviour, Who was right before him.

Then, we talked about how God desires to have relationship with each of us,  How He had relationship with Adam…man made in His Image.  The relationship with Adam and Eve…and how that relationship was broken, through sin.

I could see her eyes begin to fill as I shared that God sent His only Son to pay the price for our sin.  He came as “an innocent, pure baby born in a stable in the midst of a hostile culture.  Jesus was the only One that could pay the price…dying a brutal death for our sins…all of them…for eternity so that we would not go to Hell…to perish.

His love for us and His obedience to His Father compelled and held Him to the Cross to be the payment for our sins.  Where our flesh, our bodies would die, one day…our spirits would be born again living forever, with Jesus.   If we gave our lives to Him, believing that Jesus is the Son of God, our Saviour, who died a brutal death as payment…for forgiveness of all sin…debt paid, the Sacrifice Lamb…our spirit born again…relationship with God reconciled.”

I asked her, “Do you want to ask Jesus to be Your Saviour, to be born again… do you want to give your life to Him, Jesus the Son of God, to receive His forgiveness…do you understand…”

She said, “I do.”…and we prayed…her words and tears freely flowed, to Jesus.  It was not my words.  The sweet presence of God filled the room and opened her heart to His Love…and His hope.   Relationship with God reconciled.

Love…forgiveness, new Life, new identity in Christ received.   A Holy moment.   Exchange of a vow, a covenant…exchange of old life for new life in Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17).

At that moment I had a picture of Jesus as our Bridegroom and us as His Bride.  We talked about how at a wedding the Bride and Groom say, “I do.”

That we are called the Bride of Christ and He is our Bridegroom.  That angels in Heaven were rejoicing because she said, “I do.” to Jesus.  It was her day of visitation…the beginning of new life.

Jesus love is patient, kind…He is the Bridegroom.  He extends His Mighty, Loving, Nail Scarred Hand to us today…waiting for us to say, “I do.”

John 3:16-21

16 For this is the way God loved the world: he gave his one and only Son that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him. 18 The one who believes in him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

19 Now this is the basis for judging: that the light has come into the world and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed. 21 But the one who practices the truth comes to the light, so that it may be plainly evident that his deeds have been done in God.

Thinking of the day…

Thinking of the day…

when addicts, the abused, aborted and abandoned will overflow with the healing anointing of God…when the broken will be known as His Beautiful ones……when prostitutes and pimps will prophesy, in the streets, with the power of God…when the unclothed  and naked will be clothed and dance with God’s garments of praise…

…when the nameless, faceless, forgotten will move to the front lines hidden in Christ…when those coming out of the caves of captivity and despair will understand true destiny in Christ Jesus…no longer wounded…but leading the way as last days warriors of God’s Salvation, Truth, Healing, Justice…

…Restoring, Redemptive, Rescuing Love…led by  our Waymaker, our Commander of the Angel Armies…Jesus… Faithful and True for Your Glory…

It will happen, we will see it, for His Glory…His River will flow…His Light will shine BRIGHT in the darkness.  His hope…Revival.  Jesus is coming in power!!!

Thinking of the day…

Burning ones…

Joel 2:28 (MSG)

“I will pour out my Spirit
on every kind of people:
Your sons will prophesy,
also your daughters.
Your old men will dream,
your young men will see visions.
I’ll even pour out my Spirit on the servants,
men and women both.
I’ll set wonders in the sky above
and signs on the earth below:
Blood and fire and billowing smoke,
the sun turning black and the moon blood-red,
Before the Judgment Day of God,
the Day tremendous and awesome.
Whoever calls, ‘Help, God!’
gets help.
On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be a great rescue—just as God said.
Included in the survivors
are those that God calls.”

Into unusual places…

The Lord will take us into unusual places…now and in the days ahead.  Directing our footsteps to stand with those in time of need.  Even though we may feel unequipped and unlikely, remember the One Who directs our paths upon this journey of Life.  His help, His hope given in time of need.  Walking in faith, even though our hearts are uncertain…pressing forward with hope in the foundation that we have a Father Who is Faithful and Loves us.  A time to step into trusting the Lord…not by our emotions, but by His Word. Walking into a new day, in faith not emotion…of everything that we have been prepared for on our journey to eternity.    God is faithful.

Psalm 121 – MSG

A Pilgrim Song
I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains?
No, my strength comes from God,
who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.3-4 He won’t let you stumble,
your Guardian God won’t fall asleep.
Not on your life! Israel’s
Guardian will never doze or sleep.

5-6 God’s your Guardian,
right at your side to protect you—
Shielding you from sunstroke,
sheltering you from moonstroke.
7-8 God guards you from every evil,
he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
He guards you now, He guards you always.

Miracle Mercy

Psalm 107:1-8 MSG

Oh, thank God-he’s so good! His love never runs out. All of you set free by God, tell the world! Tell how he freed you from oppression, Then rounded you up from all over the place, from the four winds, from the seven seas. Some of you wandered for years in the desert, looking but not finding a good place to live, Half-starved and parched with thirst, staggering and stumbling, on the brink of exhaustion. Then, in your desperate condition, you called out to God. He got you out in the nick of time; He put your feet on a wonderful road that took you straight to a good place to live. So thank God for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves.
