Thinking of the day…

when addicts, the abused, aborted and abandoned will overflow with the healing anointing of God…when the broken will be known as His Beautiful ones……when prostitutes and pimps will prophesy, in the streets, with the power of God…when the unclothed  and naked will be clothed and dance with God’s garments of praise…

…when the nameless, faceless, forgotten will move to the front lines hidden in Christ…when those coming out of the caves of captivity and despair will understand true destiny in Christ Jesus…no longer wounded…but leading the way as last days warriors of God’s Salvation, Truth, Healing, Justice…

…Restoring, Redemptive, Rescuing Love…led by  our Waymaker, our Commander of the Angel Armies…Jesus… Faithful and True for Your Glory…

It will happen, we will see it, for His Glory…His River will flow…His Light will shine BRIGHT in the darkness.  His hope…Revival.  Jesus is coming in power!!!

Joel 2:28 (MSG)

“I will pour out my Spirit
on every kind of people:
Your sons will prophesy,
also your daughters.
Your old men will dream,
your young men will see visions.
I’ll even pour out my Spirit on the servants,
men and women both.
I’ll set wonders in the sky above
and signs on the earth below:
Blood and fire and billowing smoke,

Before the Judgment Day of God,
the Day tremendous and awesome.
Whoever calls, ‘Help, God!’
gets help.
On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be a great rescue—just as God said.

The Lord will take us into unusual places…now and in the days ahead.  Directing our footsteps to stand with those in time of need.  Even though we may feel unequipped and unlikely, remember the One Who directs our paths upon this journey of Life.  His help, His hope given in time of need.  Walking in faith, even though our hearts are uncertain…pressing forward with hope in the foundation that we have a Father Who is Faithful and Loves us.  A time to step into trusting the Lord…not by our emotions, but by His Word. Walking into a new day, in faith not emotion…of everything that we have been prepared for on our journey to eternity.    God is faithful.

Oh, thank God-he’s so good! His love never runs out. All of you set free by God, tell the world! Tell how he freed you from oppression, Then rounded you up from all over the place, from the four winds, from the seven seas. Some of you wandered for years in the desert, looking but not finding a good place to live, Half-starved and parched with thirst, staggering and stumbling, on the brink of exhaustion. Then, in your desperate condition, you called out to God. He got you out in the nick of time; He put your feet on a wonderful road that took you straight to a good place to live. So thank God for his marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to the children he loves.

In these days, we hear words of hopelessness.  Of foreclosures, nations shaking, hearts breaking, of pundits talking of politics and presidents as the answer to our nation’s needs…rather than prayer and the power of God to help us.

The Lord has not changed…neither have His promises or His word.  His Promise: “He will never leave us or abandon us…”

When all is shaking around us, whether it be of someone else’s doing or even our very own, we must return to and trust the promises of God.  He has not changed but sometimes we must.  In our behavior, our attitude, our actions…our beliefs.

God loves us and will see us through to the very end.  Press in hard to Jesus today…even into His strong arms where He will keep your emotions stable…sometimes even standing still, sometimes obeying His directions to act.  Jesus will keep you strong as you hide in His strong arms, as He protects you from the storm, the trial, that will pass.  Press in hard.

We are being prepared on this journey of Life…for eternity.  A destiny of Love with our King.

“I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from Him.  He alone is my Rock and my Salvation, my Fortress where I will never be shaken.”  Psalm 62:1.2

In a moment, Jesus will come for us. In a moment, He will answer our prayer…for some, what seems like eternity. On this earth we are being trained for eternity.

This is not the end. This is the beginning, every day, of a great journey with our King. Even through suffering, uncertainty, shaking, trial, pain, rejection, persecution…failure, despair…Jesus is with us. Through it all His promise is that He will walk through the valley of the shadow of death, with us. He will never leave us…even in the darkest of places. Jesus will never leave us. When we leave Him…He awaits beckoning us, through His Spirit…through our circumstances…to return.  Tenderly watching and awaiting our return…to Him, His arms, His Love.
